The aim is to give the learner a sound foundation in conceptual knowledge and in the skills of inquiry, application, analysis, critical thinking, and rational judgment.

The two-year period makes pupils move into top gear as they develop both depth and breadth of content in theory as well as in application. Individual attention through remedial and enrichment classes is an essential strategy as pupils are prepared for the All India Secondary School examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.
